Business Owner/Operator, Roy Lynch, is a Raleigh native and has been running his own sawmill business since 1997. Roy started out as a civil engineer for the City of Raleigh, working for the Department of Transportation. Later his talent for woodworking and a local natural disaster would eventually lead him to start his own portable sawmill operation.

In September of 1996, Hurricane Fran made landfall, devastating parts of Eastern North Carolina. In the aftermath of the storm many residents needed assistance clearing unwanted fallen timber. Roy saw an opportunity to provide a service to those around him and to do what he had always loved, working with lumber.

Twelve years later, Roy is still just that Good Ol' Boy from North Carolina; but his knowledge and extensive experience have made him a master of the trade.

LynchCo, LLC has been in business for over 26 years serving Central North Carolina and offers custom milling of logs at customer's site to customer's desired specifications. Often times we find that people don't realize that after the tree service removal company takes down the trees the logs can be used to produce lumber for building or selling for profit.
